Daniel Isaiah’s debut solo album, High Twilight released on June 7, and it’s quickly gaining him a fair amount of buzz. With songs like the title track, it’s easy to see why. The gentle sounds of Americana back his smoky, soulful voice, with organs providing some accents to the chorus. While these soothing Americana sounds certainly appear plenty on his album, you can also find touches of French chanson and a few other styles mixed in, all expertly executed, with the album still maintaining its feeling as a whole.
